Terms of Service
1. Agreement Scope
Welcome to TopupNaija.ng (the "Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our utility vending portals, databases, cell wallets, and API routers. This Platform is owned and managed by Semper Technologies Ltd (the "Parent Group"), registered under Corporate Affairs Commission licensing in Nigeria.
By accessing or conducting payments on our vending forms, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and fully agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these rules, you must immediately close the Platform.
2. Digital Wallets & Funding
Users have the option to set up personal digital wallets. Virtual bank account numbers allocated under Providus or Wema Bank integrations are intended solely to settle funds back to your wallet:
- Funding transfers are immediate. Settle recharges from registered banks matching your profile identity.
- All wallet funding operations are final. Balance credits cannot be withdrawn back to bank accounts unless under special dispute resolutions.
- Users are strictly responsible for maintaining biometric device protection to secure their wallet from unauthorized mobile recharges.
3. Vending Boundaries & Limits
TopupNaija imposes daily limits on recharges to comply with central banking laws in Nigeria and block cyber-crime:
- Electricity: Minimum purchase is ₦500; maximum daily limit is ₦100,000 for standard accounts.
- Data & Airtime: Maximum cellular topup is ₦50,000 per network recipient per day.
- Exam pins: Academic pins are generated strictly in wholesale quantity brackets up to 10 PINs per batch request.
4. Escrow Protections & Refunds
Your funds are protected by our Parent Group's central payment escrow systems. If a payment is successfully charged but the telecom carrier or power DisCo experiences a network timeout:
- The billing router locks the transaction in escrow status.
- If the vending gateway does not clear the delivery within 5 minutes, the escrow unlocks.
- Funds are immediately returned to your TopupNaija wallet. If you paid directly with a debit card, we push a refund trigger to your card issuer in 24 hours.
5. System Liability & Maintenance
We leverage multiple server networks to maintain a 99.9% uptime. However, TopupNaija is not liable for delayed recharges resulting from carrier grid blackouts, nation-wide telecom fiber cuts, or incorrect meter account numbers typed by consumers. Always double-check verification name tags before checking out.
6. Dispute Settlement & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed and interpreted under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Settle any transactional disputes through our helpdesk. If mutual agreement is not reached in 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Lagos, conducted under the rules of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria.
